Re: Need to stop scheduler in Syncovery NAS

Hello,
the Synology packages stop and restart the scheduler when upgrading. The icon probably went away because the new version has a new hi-res icon, so you needed to drag it to the desktop again.

Re: Synology DSM7 Support

Hello Everybody, you can now download native Synology packages for DSM7 on our web site: https://www.syncovery.com/syncovery9synology/ Be sure to read the notes. Existing profiles may not run until you have given Syncovery access to the shares and folders. This is done in File Station in the Synolog...

Re: Progress bar disappeared, recommended steps?

Hello,
I assume that a dialog appears offscreen? The best solution in Syncovery 9 would be to click the Gears toolbar button, then Running Options, and chooose:
X Run Profile in Main Window

Re: How to improve performance with sync of large number of very small files?

Hello, no, there is no buffer or caching that could make this faster. The only option is to copy more files in parallel (use more threads). The number is specified on the Files tab sheet in the profile. If problems remain, please mention more details, such as where you are copying from and to, and w...

Re: How to split large folders into subfolders containing a certain amount of files?

Hello, OK, please create a simple profile (Standard Copying) that copies from left to right, into an empty folder on the right side. Change the number of files to copy in parallel to 1 on the Files tab sheet. This will ensure that the script counts correctly. Then add the following script in the pro...

Re: How to split large folders into subfolders containing a certain amount of files?

Hello, I think the best way is to use a small PascalScript, which can be added to the Syncovery profile. I can write that for you. As I understand, the original folder should stay as it is? Do the separate folders need to be updated in the future, or is this a one-time task? Are existing files ever ...

Re: Synology DSM7 Support

Hello, DSM 7 compatible packages are working now and will be available for download very soon. With the new packages, Syncovery will run as the "Syncovery" user and by default won't have access to any folders. You can grant access in the Synology File Station, and you must make sure to apply the per...

Re: Keep uploading

Of course there can be many other causes for repeated copying, for example if you choose "Do not scan destination" in the profile, or "Always copy the files". The quickest way for me to analyze incorrect profile settings is if you send a log file to support@syncovery.com, or even post it here (after...

Re: Keep uploading

Hello,
you need to run the job manually and take a look at the Sync Preview.

The Sync Preview shows the reason why a file is uploaded. For example, the file details do not match, or Syncovery does not see the file on the destination.

Please send your analysis and/or a screenshot of the Sync Preview.
