Re: Error uploading to Google Cloud Storage - "SignatureDoesNotMatch"

Hello, thanks for the report! It seems there is a problem uploading larger files. Syncovery tries the multi-part upload method, which might not be supported by GCS. Can you confirm that these are larger files than you have been uploading previously? You can increase the maximum part size on the Prog...

Re: Synology DSM7 Support

Hi,
usually you just choose a different port, not 22 but something more obscure like 12634. You won't be getting many attacks on a port number like that.

Still, the password needs to be really good.

Re: Synology DSM7 Support

Hi, hackers constantly try to log in to port 22 on all possible public IP addresses worldwide. But these attempts usually end up in the void because your Internet router does not have a port 22 open. Can you explain a bit more about your setup? How can attackers possibly reach a Synology Box that is...

Re: Synology DSM7 Support

Hello,
yes, the SSH port should never be open to the Internet. You should only access it from a LAN or VPN.

If you aren't in the same LAN or VPN, you need to disable SSH immediately after using it.

Yes the Linux Installer can be used with DSM 6 and 7.

Re: Network Drive or SFTP, which is faster

Hello, yes, both can retain the modification time and both should reach speeds above 100 MB/sec if you copy large files, one at a time. Speeds will might not be identical, depending on the file sizes, but could be similar with both methods. In the end you need to test this in your particular environ...

Hello,
yes, just click the menu in the Sync Preview and choose "Edit Paths".

It will prompt you to confirm or change the left path first, and then the right path. Just click OK to leave a path unchanged.

Re: Sync with Google Photos?

Hello, we haven't implemented Google Photos yet. I hope it can be added some time later this year. Google Cloud Storage is something completely different. Yes that warning is normal and it can't be avoided because Google won't approve applications that request Google Cloud Storage access via OAuth. ...
