Re: selection dialog should show hidden items

Hello, if you have unchecked the checkmark "Automatically Add Future New Folders and Files to Selection" in the top right of the selection dialog, then Syncovery should not copy any folders that you can't see. Also make sure that you place checkmarks only on one side of the subfolder selection dialo...

Re: How do I specify left/right paths for file versions?

Hello, I don't think you should put more ../ things there than would logically work. But yes you can use an absolute path, starting with a slash. For Google Drive, it will start at the top of the drive. For storages with bucket or container names, it will start at the top of the bucket. So you can't...

Re: How do I specify left/right paths for file versions?

Hello,
by default, the versioning folder is in the base folders.

As an alternative, you can specify a folder relative to the base folders. For example:

../older

Unfortunately completely separate paths are not possible.

Re: selection dialog should show hidden items

Hello, yes, it shows hidden items, for example you can see ProgramData in your screenshot. ProgramData is a hidden folder. If you want to copy only one folder from C:, please choose it as your Base Path. Do not use the subfolder selection to select only one folder. Instead, the folder name should be...

Re: ZIP split size.. are they split first and uploaded second?

Hello,

yes that's correct, you can't use zip. You could upload the file uncompressed without issues.

Also, if you use the new Sz format instead of zip, it will be fine. It doesn’t use temporary files. It doesn’t split them either, I think, because it’s not needed.

Re: Ver 10.15.3 installation warning

Hello,
please ignore the warning. The installation is perfectly safe. Apparently our code signing certificate has expired. I will try to get a new one ASAP.

Re: Batch files

Hello, yes, please see the dialog "Execute before/after", which you can get via the checkmark on the "Job" tab sheet in the profiles. The special directives for delays are explained on the dialog. For example: execute before: *060*C:\Scripts\WakeRemotePC.bat execute after: C:\Scripts\ShutdownRemoteP...

Re: Nominal copy speed on 1Gb local network

Hello, OK that's great. You should be copying between 8 and 10 files simultaneously. Possibly more if the server allows it. Please set the number of files to copy in parallel on the "Files" tab sheet in the profile. In some cases, Syncovery may have switched to smaller block sizes because of transfe...

Re: Getting Access Denied Error to USB

Hello, this happens when an external drive is not mounted. The dummy mount folder may still exists, but it's empty. So you need to access the drive in a file manager first and verify the mount point again, which may vary. In Syncovery, you can make sure it doesn't write to empty folders by choosing ...

Re: What is the best way to set multiple directories to combine into one large directory?

Hello, this is the PascalScript you need. It can be added to the profile via the "PascalScript..." checkbox on the "Job" tab sheet. Just copy and paste the whole script text into the dialog box. Also remember to remove the checkmark "Detect Moved Files". Each source server can be copied only once. I...
