Re: what to do when remote service hangs?

Hi, no, it's not a known problem. Do you have the latest remote service v10.06? In general I wouldn't run too many jobs simultaneously if they use remotely generated MD5s. That's quite a task to accomplish. Try to keep the load low. Also make sure Syncovery "Remembers Results". The checkmark is chos...

Re: what to do when remote service hangs?

Hello,
yes, you can stop and restart the service from the service control panel.

However if it is busy and still successfully processing other requests, I would probably prefer to wait until these other jobs are finished.

Re: Syncovery Restore files ignores the filter

Hello, thanks, I will test it. In general you will get the best results if you choose to save the restore job as a profile (see the last tab sheet of the Restore Wizard), then cancel the restore operation and edit the restore profile to match your requirements more precisely. That way you can run it...

Re: md5 checksum verification default or configured setting

Hello,
no, if server side encryption is enabled, then MD5 checks are not used. File integrity is then ensured only by the HTTPS protocol (which is very safe actually).

Re: md5 checksum verification default or configured setting

Hello, the MD5 checksums are verified automatically, without any special setting. An exception is if server side encryption is enabled. In that case, the MD5s cannot be compared because the S3 API returns MD5s for the encrypted files. Also, for large files uploaded in chunks, the MD5 is verified for...

Re: File Selection, cannot get to bottom of selection buttons

Hello, maybe the dialog remembered a larger size from a different monitor setup that you may have had. I can still see a small part of the window's title bar. It should be sufficient to double-click that small bar at the top, and it will maximize the window. You should also be able to drag the windo...

Re: Feature request for custom file date attribute in Masks & Filters

Hello, yes, support for additional filters can be added at some point. The main problem here is that the attribute is not directly available, because the date taken is stored inside the file. So Syncovery would have to open or even download the file while building the file list, to apply the filter....

Re: File Selection, cannot get to bottom of selection buttons

Hello,
I think the window extends beyond the bottom of your screen. Have you tried clicking the Maximize button in the top right? That should make it fit. Of course there are other ways to resize the window, even if it extends beyond the bottom.
