I did a big sync of a directory, and the destination already had tons of media files in it. Syncovery found subfolders with matching names and combined them.
For example, both of these projects have a subfolder called "Uber Art" and now the files for both projects are in only 1 folder instead of each project having it's own sub folder called "Uber art"
Logs:
Code: Select all
Going to check if higher level folder should be moved instead: \Ambition\Ambition_Art\Mezzanine Package to \A Walk To Remember\A_Walk_To_Remember_ProResHQ\A_Walk_To_Remember_Art
Remembering renamed folder on right side: \A Walk To Remember\A_Walk_To_Remember_ProResHQ\A_Walk_To_Remember_Art\Uber_Art
Moved folder T:\Ambition\Ambition_Art\Mezzanine Package\Uber_Art
to T:\A Walk To Remember\A_Walk_To_Remember_ProResHQ\A_Walk_To_Remember_Art\Uber_Art
The end result is that the Uber Art for "Ambition" is now in the Uber Art folder for "A walk to remember"
I would really love to know how to tweak or disable this feature so that I can maintain my directory structure and add to it without mixing projects up. Thanks in advance for your anticipated reply.
P.S. do you recommend I fix this manually or is there some way to fix it programmatically using syncovery? Thanks.
