ZIP files, windows will not open them?

question
source to destination, ZIPPED files/encrypted files on destination. your default is 256.

IF i go to my OneDrive and DOWNLOIAD one of those files by itself, and try to open it in windows, windows compressed folder will not open it.
I have to use 7-zip. (I CAN do that, and i can use the restore if needed)

Now, see attached, you have several zip methods. if i want to occasionally share one of my ENCRYPTED files with a family member, and they have the decrypting password, which of these protocols WILL work with windows zip file system, and not need 3rd party?

i realize that 256 is the best encryption, but if i want some compatibility, and files are not very sensitive, what else would work?
thanks

Hi,
your only chance is classic zip password, but not recommended. No idea why Windows doesn't support AES-256.
