Binary comparison really slow even using Remember Results

Please review the log file for this profile to see if there is anything I can do to speed it up. When I watch the profile run it seems like if checks some of the checksums and does a full comparison on other files. I realize that there are a lot of files, some of which are quite large

Hello,
the database where Syncovery remember previous deletions was empty when this job run was started.
Therefore, it compared 11831 files, which can take a while.
Theoretically it should be faster the next time the job runs.

I scanned my previous log files. It appears that the database has been empty since July 19. I let almost all of the profiles run to completion so I don't understand why the database isn't getting updated. I've attached several log files from when the database was last updated and several after when it was empty.

Hello,
apparently multiple profiles are sharing the same database, and the path conflicts cause Syncovery to delete it.
You can see it here in the log file:
Code: Select all
DB offsets mismatch, left=\Family, right=\..
DB offsets mismatch, left=\Family, right=\..
Closing database C:\ProgramData\Syncovery\Database\DG1S3 Family Pictures.syncfdb
15:55:10.843 Database closed
Deleted DB: C:\ProgramData\Syncovery\Database\DG1S3 Family Pictures.syncfdb
As a solution, please go to the Program Settings dialog, tab sheet "DB", and choose:
-> Never allow two profiles to share the same database
Some background information: profiles sharing a database can occur if a profile is duplicated, or edited and the name changed. Syncovery may then use the same database for two profiles. It should actually ask you what to do with the database, but that question is probably so confusing that most users don't know what to choose.
I hope this will fix the problem.
Finally, despite Syncovery offers the feature, I don't actually recommend keeping "Binary Comparison Of Existing Files While Building File List" chosen permanently. Even together with "Remember Results", it's meant as a temporary feature to verify your database from time to time.
It's usually better to use only "Verify copied files". Once the upload has been verified, you can trust the S3 servers not to corrupt your file.

It turns out that "Never allow two profiles to share the same database" was already checked in the program settings.
I'm taking your advice and switching all relevant profiles to "Verify copied files"
Thanks
