Hi

I'm trying to setup a new FTP destination which is using TLS on port 21

But I get the following message when I try to browser the destination:
ERROR: Connection problem: ftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: ERROR: SSL Server unknown - run again with /ACCEPTSERVER command line parameter

I have no idea what it means and what settings I should change

Current settings:
Protocol: FTP
URL: ftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Port: 21
Passive mode: checked
Secure Transfer: Checked
User ID and password: set
Security:
Security mode: Explicit TLS
Auth Cmd: tested Auto and TLS
Version: tried all 3

Setup worked fine on Filezilla client

Any suggestion welcomed

Thanks

Ah, found that thread: viewtopic.php?t=839
So it looks like it is about accepting the server's certificate on first connection which is something I did on Filezilla

Is the only solution to run with /ACCEPTSERVER which would mean it would accept for every server
It would be great to be able to willingly accept once

problem solved using the domain name instead of the IP of the server

Hello,
thanks for the posts! Yes if you use a domain, Syncovery can usually verify the SSL certificate automatically. But not with an IP address, because SSL certificates are bound to domains, not IPs. Theoretically there should be a prompt, allowing you to confirm the certificate. It's possible that it doesn't appear in some cases. I will look into it.
