Hello
I got a few, several years old sync jobs imported from v7 into v11 Syncovery. They all work with simple import.
These jobs are SFTP <> Windows network drives.
In Profile details summary I can see how job is authenticating with SFTP. But I can't seem to find which account is used to authenticate with network drive side.
Recently I have created 2 new jobs and in profile details of them, I can see: "Connection=name of AD account" and location of the drive. But not in these old jobs.
For SFTP side, I can see if it's SAS token or sftp user based login. That's not a problem, just network side of used authentication.
Any suggestions?
Sync job, how to see used accounts?
Re: Sync job, how to see used accounts?
Hello,
in many cases, Syncovery simply uses the network connection made by Windows File Explorer. So it does not actively make any connection and does not have or know any network user name.
If Syncovery runs under a Windows domain account, network connections are made using the domain account.
In addition, you can specify network credentials in the profile under Job->Network Connections. So you can look there and check if any account was entered.
The most recent Syncovery versions also have an SMB button to access the network credentials quickly.
