ok, let's try again (I have colonoscopy thursday, my body system is not clicking on all cylinders :-), brain fog)

on left side, create a new folder, \TESTING
in that folder, put a file, TEST-TEXT.txt (put some text inside it, as some zero-length files don't get copied)
run your syncoronization, then see that it shows up on the RiGHT side.
then delete the TEST-TEXT.txt file on teh left side
then re-run your synchronization, RUN IN ATTENDED MODE. it should then give you a list of what will happen.
you should see that TEST-TEXT.txt is not present on the left side,and should be marked for deletion on the RIGHT side.
then proceed, and then see if an \ARCHIVE folder got set up on the right side, and if TEST-TEXT.txt is present in that folder

hopefully this can be figured out :-)

Ok never mind. I found it... "Archive" was working which made me think ok maybe i don't actually know where "/Archive" goes.

I was expecting it to put it at the root of the folder that was set as the specific destination on the sync.

ie i was testing like this
L = //projects/projectX
R = //projects/projectX

So i assumed projectX was seen as the root and was expecting the "/Archive" result to put it in //projects/projectX
But it created the folder and moves the files within //projects/

Thanks,

Richard

ok,now that you found it, does it have prior deleted ones in it? or, test to see if it accepts new deletions?
