"Access is denied at 00000000011A134B." error during backup

Post by TexasSyncUser »

Running 11.8.5 on Windows Server 2019 Standard.

Attempting to backup from local server out to S3-compatible Cloud Service (Wasabi). Profile message was "INCOMPLETE: 145 copied (79.3MB) of 168, Errors with 23 File(s), Duration: 00:34:37"

Getting "Access is denied at 00000000011A134B." error message on some of the files. Here's an excerpt (with a successful copy listed first, just before the errors started) from the log file:

Copy L->R F:\burst\pch-5.0-sep04-patchbld\omd4\content\localization\game\zh-hans\game.archive,d\1.114470.gz (483.7kB)

Hello,
this means that the user account that Syncovery is running under does not have permissions to open the file.

You can see the user account at the top of the log file ("Running as"). You will also see if it's an admin account or not.

You may have to adjust the permissions on these folders, and/or open Syncovery by right-clicking its icon and choosing "Run As Administrator".

Yup, modifying the Syncovery application properties to "Run as Administrator" seemed to fix the problem. Thanks Tobias!
