Problems on Windows Server 2025

Hello,

I just installed a new licence of version 11.1.4 on a Windows Server 2025.

I installed the service and changed the connection to "Local system".
But the service frequently stops (displaying "SCHEDULER OFF" in main panel).

In the same panel "Next Run" is not up to date.
It keeps the previous scheduled date.

Is just the scheduler off, or does it also show the service itself as not running?

Can you check if there’s a SyncoveryService_Exceptions file in the logs folder and send it to support?

You could also check in the Windows events viewer, especially after enabling events on the Program Settings dialog.

The services stays in status "Starting".

And there is a surprising and problematic consequence : the Windows Explorer cannot bestarted anymore !!
And the explorer.exe process restart every minute.
As soon as Syncovery is ininstalled, it works again (after a reboot).


In the Logs folder, I cannot find any SyncoveryService_Exceptions file.

I just reinstalled it (with Service scheduler), and enabled events.
Everything is running fine.
But problems will probably appear after 24h of use (that's what happened after the 2 previous installations).

you could make sure that the Syncovery Guardian service is not running. Maybe it causes problems.

So far there are no known issues with server 2025.

OK, Guardian is stopped and disabled.

Hello,

Disabling the Guardian service worked during 1 week.
This morning, the problem was back (unable to open any new windows, many CMD process open).

I uninstalled Syncovery, rebooted the server, and evrything works fine again.

There is no "SyncoveryService_Exceptions" in the Logs folder.

many thanks. I will make long term tests on Server 2025 here. But it is unclear if I will be able to produce the problem.

Can you check the Windows Event Viewer? Maybe there are some relevant events under Windows logs -> Application?

The antivirus has been uninstalled.
I will check if the problem occurs again.
