Remembering window sizes and positions

Post by fletch »

Bought this software 4 years ago and used it sparingly. Now I'm finally getting around to migrating the jobs from the other tool I've used for years to Syncovery. Since I had a few UI issues in 10, I wanted to test out 11 before posting anything.

I'm always grateful for resizable windows, but is there any hope that window sizes and positions can be remembered?

In the video below, the profile settings window appears in different locations randomly. While I tried to correlate it to mouse locations in the video, it turns out that mouse location does not matter.

Another window - Choose Files and Folders. The video makes the issue clear - but you can try for yourself, opening and closing it. It keeps shrinking. Granted it's not a window I'd use often, but when I do, i always have to resize it.

Posting another example. The Enlarge User Interface option was the one thing that triggered my purchase 4 years ago. Windows scales some things and can enlarge some things, but many apps are not affected by those controls. I figured the sync would work fine, but being able to adjust the UI to work with my screen was huge. So, thanks again for that.

Given that, and that I use 125%, some dialogs get clipped. But, they're resizable - great - no problem. BUT, the size is not remembered and like in my other example varies randomly. For example...

Backing up the profiles I spent allot of time creating tonight...
