Hello,
yes, it shows hidden items, for example you can see ProgramData in your screenshot. ProgramData is a hidden folder.

If you want to copy only one folder from C:, please choose it as your Base Path. Do not use the subfolder selection to select only one folder. Instead, the folder name should be added to the base paths on both the left and the right side.

Which folder are you missing in the selection dialog?

Another important thing is that the checkmark in the top right is unchecked, like you have already done:
"Automatically Add Future New Folders and Files to Selection"

Avoiding this checkmark will ensure that no unwanted folders are copied.

The selection dialog is made with controls from Windows File Explorer, so maybe according to your Windows settings, a folder might be hidden. In that case you are correct, Syncovery would copy it if that checkmark is chosen. But not if you remove that checkmark.

The checkmark is really intended for cases where your base folder is a data folder like "Documents". But the checkmark is not good if your base folder is C:\

@tobias Thank you for your response. Let me show you this issue:

I can't see hidden folders, that's fine, I just want "test" and "test2" in drive c, exact mirror:
https://1drv.ms/i/c/0a2ff4dbb56417a8/ET ... g?e=PRWlxx

But, the hidden folders will be copy:
https://1drv.ms/i/c/0a2ff4dbb56417a8/EZ ... g?e=TOn9i0

So this issue is the hidden items is uncontrol, can't deselect, but will copy, you may be say I can uncheck "Search Hidden Folder" in "Masks&Filters/General Filters" tab, but how if I want hidden thing in "test" and "test2"?

Hello,
if you have unchecked the checkmark "Automatically Add Future New Folders and Files to Selection" in the top right of the selection dialog, then Syncovery should not copy any folders that you can't see.

Also make sure that you place checkmarks only on one side of the subfolder selection dialog (for example, only in the left treeview).

If this problem persists, the easiest solution is to type the folder names into the profile under Masks & Filters -> Exclusions.

You would put this into the Exclusions field:
\Recovery
\Documents and Settings

The other hidden folders are most likely excluded already, by Global Exclusion Masks. You can see these on the Program Settings dialog, tab sheet "Types, Limits".

If you would like me to look into the problem further, can you post the log file from your test or send it to support@syncovery.com? The log file contains all the settings so I can analyze it better than from screenshots.

@tobias "Automatically Add Future New Folders and Files to Selection" solved my problem, Thank you very much. But I still think show hidden folders in selection dialog will better.
Have a nice day.
