have a two-way profile, from desktop (left) to onedrive (right)
I RENAMED several folders on left side.
i did an attended copy (L-R and R-L)
it wanted to RENAME the files on the LEFT side bck to the original names.
how to force it to rename the files on the RIGHT side?
In the interim, i changed this to only LEFT-RIGHT copy, and was then able to rename them on right, but want it to be that LEFT side in the dual copying is the primary determiner of changes.
thanks

Hello,
you can choose which side should be the model in the profile, before starting the job. The setting is on the "Files" tab sheet as well as on the SmartTracking dialog (if you use SmartTracking).

thanks for reply.
I THOUGHT there was an option (and i thought i had it set correctly), and i went back and checked, and i did have it set to right.... that is what is confusing.

tobias,
see attached
source, folder is RULES - Mailboxes. Destination is PRIOR folder, POLICY-RULES-door-gate-accesss.
destination also HAS newer named folder of RULES-door-gate-access
but, program wants to MOVE teh source files, on left, to the Prior folder name (policy-rules-door-gate), instead of adjusting on right. I have the settings in FILES set to "adjust on right"

NOTE, uploaded images are in REVERSE order...

Hello,
you can change the radio button in the Sync Preview to "Adjust Them: On the Right".
I don't think that your profile is set to move files on the right side. Otherwise, the radio button "On the Right" would be pre-selected.
Please double-check. Previous Syncovery versions would change the radio button to "Automatic" but in the latest version, the setting "Right" will actually stick. But you have to change it once more.

Re: two-way copying, rename folders on RIGHT instead of left?
i had the correct settings.
but i did wyat you suggested, switched it to LEFT, (it then showed LEFT in radio button), then back to right, and the radio button switched back to RIGHT
it ORIGINALLY was at individual, even though in FILES, ADJUST ON RIGHT was selected.
thasnk
looks like it's fixed
