Oh, it's disabled by default. You should move it to Program Settings instead of Help.tobias wrote: Sun Jan 11, 2026 12:19 pm Hi,
the hints / hover text on the toolbar on the Profile Overview do show fine on my system.
Can you check if ToolTip hints are enabled in the Help menu?

Re: Cannot sync .pptx files from Google Drive
I'm also quite curious about Syncovery's behavior with document files (in general): Is it possible that Syncovery can't maintain the behavior of syncing/uploading/downloading these files like other regular files, but instead forces them to be converted during the syncing/uploading/downloading process?

Re: Global Internet Protocol Settings
Yes there are a lot of settings, but they are grouped and organized very well. The GUI is not going to be changed anytime soon.
You have to learn a little, but that's normal for software of this kind.
Profile create is the most basic feature which you learn initially. For the first profile ...

Re: Bypass the error "Abusive file cannot be downloaded from Google Drive"
Oh!
Interesting. OK I will test it!
First have to find some malware though to test it with ... hmmm ...
rclone has supported this for a long time, easily enabled via the --drive-acknowledge-abuse flag; I hope Syncovery will add it soon as well.
You can try the Wise Care 365.zip file. It's a ...

Re: Global Internet Protocol Settings
Normally, you would not use the Restore Wizard at all. Instead, please click the + button to create a profile. In this profile, you can make all your settings and save them permanently.
Oh, I didn't know about it until you mentioned it. Honestly, Syncovery's current settings are scattered in ...

Re: Bypass the error "Abusive file cannot be downloaded from Google Drive"
Hello,
unfortunately if Google disallows the download, no software in the world can bypass this.
The best you can hope for is that Syncovery could silently skip the file. Is that what you want?
Apologies for the delay.
It's not "skip" but "bypass".
Based on the logs, I guess Syncovery uses ...

Bypass the error "Abusive file cannot be downloaded from Google Drive"
I'm using Syncovery 11.12.0.
Google Drive always scans user-uploaded files for viruses (privacy doesn't exist with Google), and it (almost always) fails with files larger than 25 MB or even when the Google virus scan server crashes, and those files, when downloaded, receive a warning that they ...
