Can Syncovery support the Mega S4 object storage, which is claimed S3 compatible object storage? How to access it if it is possible?

Syncovery supports all S3 compatible cloud storages. Please choose the S3 protocol and then the provider: Custom (bucketname@host.url).

Enther the bucket name and S3 server URL in the Bucket field like this:

bucketname@s3serverurl.com

You need to look up the endpoint URL in your Mega account.

Please try it and let me know if questions remain. I may be able to try it myself soon.

Do you have the latest Syncovery 11.0.16?

If problems remain, you can enforce signature V4 by adding
AWSAlwaysUseSignatureV4=1

to the [Main] section of Syncovery.ini

Works with Syncovery 10 too.

I’m also exploring Syncovery with S3-compatible storage. Is there any specific limitation when using Mega S4, especially with large file backups or synchronization?

Hello,
no, there is no known limitation. File sizes are limited only by the cloud service. Large files are uploaded in chunks, so that occasional interruptions or errors won't cause a re-uploading of the whole file.
