Last Result not indicating files to be deleted any more

Hi,
since some versions now, Syncovery does not show the number of files that should be deleted in the "Last Result" column any more.
These were shown in red so the profile could be run in attended mode and the files could be examined and deleted if necessary.
This occurs when profiles are run in background / via scheduler.
When running in attended mode, the files that should be deleted are listed.

Has the behaviour changed?
Is this some setting that maybe changed?

Hello,
I am not aware that anything has changed.

It depends very much on the context and the reason why deletions weren't done.

I just tested this and got the usual result:

Maybe you can send a complete log file to support@syncovery.com.

Hello,
in this case, the option "Enable Special Safety Checks" needs to be removed from the tab sheet Safety->Unattended Mode.

These safety checks work only with user interaction and cause deletions to be disabled completely when the job runs in a separate thread, or via service (because no user interaction is then possible).

Okay, without the option "Enable Special Safety Checks", all deletions are done even in unattended mode.
But this is not what I would like to have.
I would like to get the "usual result" you described above:
"Incomplete: 0 copied, 0 deleted of 1, confirmations missing" in red.
Files should not be deleted in unattended mode, but show the red notice.

Hello,
OK, interesting. I will look into it.

Any news on this?
The problem is that it worked before - I got the red "confirmation missing" result on the profiles even when running via scheduler.

Hello,
I am sorry but this is a very special combination of settings and requirements, I do not have a short term fix for this. I am mostly working on Syncovery 10 now.

This is still a problem for me, so I tried version 9.0 (unfortunately, I have no other version between 9.0 and 9.47f available):
Created a new local sync profile with
- smarttracking for both sides,
- smarttracking settings for deleted files = Move into folder for deleted files
- Job scheduled every 1 minute
- Background scheduler globally on
- After both sides synced, I deleted a file on one side
- When running with 9.47f, the job was run (by background scheduler) with "Nothing to do", so there is NO indication that there are files to be deleted on one side and the folders are NOT in sync any more.
- When running with 9.0, the job was run (by background scheduler) with

So this is what I would expect (or even the result you posted in red).

I would really appreciate any support on this.
If you could provide the versions between 9.0 (9.40 from 12/2021 should be enough; I think this did not change earlier) and the actual 9.47f (are they available? I didn't find them...), I would be willing to locate the version when this changed.

If I can provide any other support, just mail me.

Sorry to bother you, but if you did not change anything intentionally, this behaviour will most probably the same in version 10 and this is a real showstopper for me.
Thanks!

Hello,
thanks for the additional details, today I can look into this and I will try it here.

You can always download older versions, you just need to know or guess the build number. You can get that from older logs. For example:

https://www.syncovery.com/release/Synco ... up9245.exe

That's version 9.38k, build 245.

But you don't have to make further tests with versions, I will look into it now.
