Hello,
After downloading files from a ftp server I’d like to send them to multiple email recipients.
Is that possible in Syncovery?
Tnx
Frank

Hello,
yes it is! You need to create a separate profile (job) that copies from your local folder as the left side, and on the right side click the Internet button and choose the protocol "Email".

Fill in all the server details and choose
X Communicate with Other E-Mail Addresses
X Send Files To: one@email.com,two@email.com etc.

Make sure you read the "Info on how to prevent duplicate email sending".

Another hint, please make sure that the two jobs don't run at the same time. You could schedule them far enough apart, or chain them.

Here's a page about chaining profiles:
https://www.syncovery.com/documentation/chaining/

Another way to prevent incompletely downloaded files from being processed by a second profile is to choose:
Automatically resume (copy with temporary filenames, keep incomplete files when stopped)
on the Files tab sheet.

It would be good to have a "send test email" button in that section. Like in EmailSettings for the logs.(i use smtp port 587 there)

After some testing I changed the 465 port to 587. That works!

Hello Tobias,

The emailing works great.
How can add security to that?
Zipping files with encryption and password? (looking at the Compress/Encrypt section)
thanks
Frank

Hello,
yes, please choose "Zip Each File Individually" and under Encryption, choose "Encrypt Files Copied Left To Right", ideally with Zip-Compatible AES encryption.
