subscribe/unsubscribe still screwy

i click on settings
i want to subscribe to topic, but SUBSCRIBE is CHECKED. BUT, I CLICK on it again, it UNCHECKS it, and gives me message that i am subscribed.
THEN, if i click on settings again, it shows me UNSUBSCRIBE, WITHOUT a checkmark, and if I CHECK it, it UNSUBSCRIBESW me.
The SUBSCRIBE indicator to me is screwy, it should not have an initial CHECK when you look at it, because that implies you HAVE subscribed to it.
anyway, just my observation
