Slow File Listing
Slow File Listing
I am new to Syncovery. I've got a profile that takes hours to get the file listing. This just isn't feasible. What can I do to speed this up? These are Windows shares on a wide area network. I've emailed support about settings for performing real-time sync but have heard nothing back (this was probably over a month ago). I am about 20 days in of my 30 day trial. If I can't get something figured out I will need to look for a different option.

I think you need to install the Syncovery Remote Service on the other end to help build the listing.

I believe I have everything set up according to your suggestions. It is still terribly slow. I am at a loss. I want this profile to two way real time sync as well as a scheduled run once a day. It never gets a chance to do that because it spends the entire day getting file listings.

Can you send a few log files to support@syncovery.com?
There is surely unnecessary overhead that can be removed.
If there is confidential data in the logs, you may need to edit them before sending.
