I would be very grateful for some advice. I have a DS920+ and use Syncovery to backup to it and from it to my sons server (it used to be to my brothers as well but he died last year).
I have two problems, I am 80 and when the backup ups were done it was with my son who is knowledgeable. Thus, as Syncovery has developed a lot of the changes have passed me by! The second bigger problem is my son is in the last stages of cancer and clearly his wife is not going to maintain his network and server for her use after that happens. So we will need to move to prevent that problem occurring and reducing her problems then.
We have over 1.5Tb of data, many years of photography create a lot of images, and we have records going back over 40 years on the NAS.
I am looking for a cloud backup site, currently we have fiber internet of 600Mb up and down so up and downloading isn’t going to be a problem. I would be grateful of recommendations of ones that are not to expensive (pensions are not that good), will take the fairly large backup we have and can be setup in Syncovery easily. It would be great if anyone knows of a guide on how to do it.
Advice on cloud backup please
Re: Advice on cloud backup please
Hello,
here are some cost efficient cloud storages that you could use, from $6 per month per TB.
https://www.backblaze.com/cloud-storage/pricing
https://www.pcloud.com/cloud-storage-pr ... eriod=year
https://wasabi.com/pricing
These are all supported very well by Syncovery.
Backblaze and Wasabi are more technical, while PCloud has a user friendly web interface where you can browse your files easily.

Thanks a lot. John
Re: Advice on cloud backup please
I see Backblazee B2 as an option in creating a new backup but not the other two or am I missing something? Oh but that on V11 not on 10 running on the NAS.
Re: Advice on cloud backup please
Asked pCloud on settings for Syncovery and they have sent them but say its not really suitable for use in backups to them "Please note that the WebDAV protocol is mainly suitable for connecting to other applications and transferring smaller files and is not recommended for larger backups"
and
"We expect to offer a better alternative to WebDAV in the near future, but I cannot confirm a release date at this time. I'll make a note of your ticket and will contact you with any news!"
Have to move on to ask next one.

Re: Advice on cloud backup please
Nolty going well had pCloud running 4hrs and backed up 1.4% said was going to over 2 days. After safter stopping says errors with 74 files. Clearly not a very viable option like this. Spent hours with B2 and yes its complicated I have a document filled with bucket, logons, master yet another Application keys as well as logon account name and password. Total failure in working out which of all the bits created I have to use and as result total failure to get it working. Wasabi looks to be commercial only provider, starting at 25Tb when you go into it site more. Tried emailing but the contact form was clearly commercial only so gave up. So really back to start of looking for cloud provider that I can use that’s not needing some one from IT to set it up, to connect at a reasonable speed (I uploaded 1Tb over a year ago to my brothers new server and it took less than 8 hours!)
