Syncovery remote service on linux - issues

Post by Hecate »

The systemd service when started reates a hidden folder on the / which is not recommanded by linux.
Also sometimes, my syncovery logs say that the remote service is not working:
14:13:12 Exception Remote Service Not Working CP: RIT9AX

I'm trying to copy localfiles (windows 11 machine) on a remote linux server with remote service enabled with sftp:
but I got that
14:13:07 Waiting for remote listing

Why it'es not working ?
(Remote service port is opened to my home ip)

Hello,
what's the name of the folder it created?

Concerning the operation, it is usually very reliable. Please visit the remote service configuration page at port 8949. You can see which folders it is active on and also a history of operations.

The port is not needed for communication with Syncovery. Only for configuration.

The destination folder of your profile must be entered into the field
"Folders to watch for listing, checksum, or copying and general requests:"

But of course not as an sftp:// URL. Instead, you need to type the local Linux path in that field and click "Apply".
