SSL problem with syncovery 9.17 on debian 10.6

Post by clavelm80 »

Hi,
I've just installed syncovery 9.17 upon a previous syncovery 8 install on debian 10.6.
When running my previously working profile, I'm getting these errors :

Code: Select all

Using OpenSSL, libssl.so and libcrypto.so

TLS Certificate verified successfully.
This server does not support empty folders.
Copying Direction : Left To Right
Exact Mirror Mode is being used.

Scanning Folders Started At 19/10/2020 21:12:11
Getting Amazon S3 Listing (splitting after 1000000 entries)
Considering Library version libcrypto.so -->
Loading libcrypto.so Result: 2C0112B0
Considering Library version libssl.so -->
Loading libssl.so Result: 2C010DA0

Failed to load OpenSSL libraries. Missing functions:
EVP_MD_CTX_init
EVP_MD_CTX_cleanup
EVP_CIPHER_CTX_flags
Thinking my openssl lib was too old, I checked but I was on the latest for debian 10.6 : openssl_1.1.1d-0+deb10u3_amd64
I still updated it to openssl_1.1.1g-1_amd64 but I'm still getting the error.

Hello,
many thanks, that's very interesting! I will check if these missing functions are possibly not needed so they can be ignored.
