Looking at my NAS I have 2 Synonas items that are very old. Are they actually needed or for old versions of the program left behind?
\\SYNONAS\XXX\SyncoveryConfig
\\SYNONAS\XXX\SyncoveryConfig2020.zip
Are these still needed?
Re: Are these still needed?
Hello,
these names look like manual backups of old configuration files.
Syncovery itself does not use anything named "SyncoveryConfig". It also does not use zip files for configuration.
A typical path to the configuration file on a Synology NAS looks like this:
/volume1/@appdata/Syncovery/Syncovery.cfg
So, I am sure you can delete the items you mentioned. However, I do recommend looking inside the SyncoveryConfig folder (if it is a folder) to see if the files in it are old too.
