Hi,
I would like to make local backup copies from a couple of OneDrive accounts. However, by default Syncovery also syncs folders that are shared between these accounts, resulting in multiple versions of the same data. Does anybody know a way to only include folders that originate in the OneDrive account and are not in the respective "shared with me" list?

These three folders have been shared in OneDrive by another account and they show in the folder list of Syncovery like this other than the "size unknown" that comes up on the sync-preview list, I cannot find a good indicator how to identify and exclude them.

the way this looks, Syncovery won't be able to download these folders. It will most likely produce some errors because it cannot download them. It shows them as files in the Sync Preview.

I will look into this and make sure they are automatically skipped in a future update.

Which Syncovery version do you currently have?

thank you for the reply. My problem is that they are downloaded so they are duplicated multiple times in all accounts. I tried v9 and v10.

I played around with exclusions, however it is even worse than that:
if there are two OneDrive folders:
1. Documents (owned by OneDrive user I am using for the sync) with a subfolder A
2. Documents (shared by another OneDrive user, added "as shortcut to my files" AND renamed to "Shared-Documents" in the OneDrive web GUI) with a subfolder B
then Syncovery only goes by the folder name of the original share and groups as follows:

Documents
-A
-B

hence it is impossible to securely filter out folder Documents\B

\Documents\B

Are you using a personal OneDrive or OneDrive for Business?

It is OneDrive personal.
The exclusion mask does work - thank you.
I am also experimenting with the "ignore any error listing folders" to see if this would also exclude them.
