Does Syncovery not sync directory symbolic links?

Hello,

I've created a directory symbolic link using the following command:

Code: Select all

> mklink /D c:\backup\projects c:\projects
Now I want to sync all the content in the c:\backup directory to my SFTP server.
So I've placed c:\backup on the Left-Hand Side of my Syncovery profile .

However, when I run the profile(attended mode), Syncovery doesn't show the directory symbolic link c:\backup\projects
in the Synchronisation Preview.

Hello,
yes the default action is not to follow these links.

But you can change it in the profile under "Masks & Filters" -> "General Filters".

Thank you, it works after I checked the setting 'Follow Symbolic Links to Folders' under Masks & Filter -> General Filters.

Initially, I was hoping to find this feature in Advanced Settings -> Folders.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will think about it ... I will reorganize the settings for Syncovery 11 ...
