Hello,
thanks for the report. It seems that the SMB network communication hangs.

In such cases please avoid the internal SMB protocol and mount the network path using your NAS' administration area / file manager, or using Linux tools.

it is odd half of them will run and half of them will have that error, is there a reason that it is doing that?

No idea, sorry, but I will change it to allow longer delays before erroring out in the next version.

Hello,
the new version 10.8.3 is now available and it will no longer throw this error. Profiles may appear to hang if there are SMB issues though, but should eventually recover.
