Would you please provide some tips on optimizing the performance of binary comparison profiles over a network?
For example:
Is it always best to use Remote Service for right side listing?
Is it always best to use remotely generated MD5 checksums?
Or is it best to use MD5 checksums only when the drive has primarily large files? (If the drive has primarily small files is it best to not use MD5 checksums?)
What is the optimal number of file list threads?
Is it ok to run many profiles at the same time provided network & disk usage as reported by Task Manager is less than 100%?
