Best way to mirror two windows systems across the internet?

Post by j.a.duke »

I need to mirror two Windows Server 2008r2 servers across the internet. The server in the office will be mirrored to the server in the data center.

My initial thoughts are to run a SFTP server on the destination.

Is there a better way that people can suggest?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Jon

Hello,
I agree that an SFTP server on the destination would be ideal.

Alternatively, you can also use traditional FTP with SSL/TLS.

If building the file list over the Internet protocol seems slow, you can use "Cache Destination File List", or install the Syncovery Remote Service on the destination in order to generate the listing fast.
