Could I please report a bug with the following combination creating 1 more version than specified within the profile. I've tested several times and can reproduce each time.
Base Path For Synchronization:
- Left Side = Local folder, e.g. C:\Users\username\Desktop\Syncovery Testing
- Right Side = OneDrvNew, e.g. /Backups/Testing
Versioning:
- Keep Older Versions When Replacing: "2" Per File
- Move into folder: Older
Compression:
- Compress Each File Individually: .sz
Encryption:
- Encrypt Files Copies Left to Right: AES (256 bit)
- Password Phrase: <password>
- Confirm: <password>
With the above combination I would expect a maximum of 2 files in the 'Older' folder for each file I update multiple times. Instead I get 3. Syncing again and it does delete the oldest, it just appears to keep 1 more version than configured. If I configure 3 versions I get 4 versions in the OneDrive Older folder.
OS: Win10 x64
Application Version: 9.39j
I've also tested with both source and destination as a local folder and it works correctly. Also tested non-compressed sync with OneDrive and it also works fine. It seems to be a combination of the above that's causing the issue.
Thanks.

OK, I will look into it.

Re: Possible Bug: Extra Version Retained with OneDrive Encrypted Sync
Hello,
version 9.39m fixes this now. It was an interesting bug, only happened with .sz because there was a logic that recognized only the .zip extension.
