Dear Members:
I have a local D:\ disk on my PC with the following directories:
* Documents
* Downloads
* Images
* Music
* Temp
* Videos
I want to back-up these directories (exactly the same ones) on an external drive E:\ .
In this drive E:\ there are the same directories indicated above, and also 2 new objects:
* an "autorun.inf" file
* an "autorun directory"
These both are only to enable an particular red icon on the E:\ drive.
(for instance, the autorun.inf file reads: [autorun]ICON=AUTORUN\GREEN.ICO).
I need always to copy from drive D:\ to drive E:\ all 6 directories indicated above (replacing all the files on drive E:\ that are needed), but never deleting the autorun file and directory that are in drive E:\ .
How to do that?
All the best,
Yuri.

Re: Simple Question from a New Member & User
Hello,
thanks for your question!
You could use the subfolder selection ("Choose Folders and Files"), click "All" in the lower left and then right-click the root folder and choose "No files".
Note that deletions are only mirrored in Exact Mirror mode. Don't use SmartTracking for one-way syncs.
Please test the job by running it in attended mode (with preview) and take a look at the Sync Preview to make sure the proposed actions make sense.
