Delete files older than "x" days, but not folders

Post by cybermat »

Hello,
i set up a profile with "Exact Mirror", with an empty folder to the left and the folder that i want to keep clean and tide, in the right.
I've put under mask & filters, the rule to detect the files age over 4 hours (for example), and the extension of the files that i want to delete.

It's all working fine, but i've seen in the log, that the profile wants to delete also the folder containing those files. Is there a way to avoid this ? The deletion not happen because the folder is not EMPTY.

In the exclusion mask i put the folder name that i don't want to be examined, but if i do this, then the whole folder is not processed, so i cannot delete files older than "x" days.

Is it per design or i'm missing some setup ? thanks

Hello,
the checkmark "Never Delete Any Folders" is under Folders->More in Syncovery 11, or simply Folders in older versions.

It's time to upgrade
