Unattended mode, deletions disabled

Post by roclab »

Hi,

When running a profile in unattended mode, I am getting the error mentioned above.

However, I did uncheck Unattended file deletion, Ransomware protection and Enable Special Safety Checks from the Safety-.Unattended mode tab.

So if the options are not checked that mean to me they are disabled right ? If so why it does generate this error:

WARNING: the profile is executed without deletions because the number
of deletions is higher than specified in the Safety settings

Thanks

Hello,
you cannot completely disable the safety settings.

You need to check under Safety->Unattended Mode.

There is a maximum percentage of files to delete, as well as an absolute maximum number of files.

The default maximum number of files to delete is 1000. You can raise the number, but you cannot disable this check.

Ok I see, so unchecking the option doesn`t disable it so I must increase the threshold values to not trigger any errors right ?

I think I get it

Thanks
