Move error: access denied

Post by Knarf »

Hello,
Maybe a coincidence but since a windows server updates I have these errors:
MOVE ERROR 5, Access is denied
Syncovery tries to run the job again and again but it still fails.
I have to "Run in unattended mode" manually. That goes well.

Any idea's to solve this?
tnx

Hello,
you can fix the permissions on the folders, or run the scheduler as a service. Maybe change the account that the service runs under.

If you compare the two log files from the successful and unsuccessful runs, you will see the difference at the top, for example:

Running as: Powerful User (Admin)
versus
Running as: Another User (Not Admin)
