TGPuttyLib X SecureBlackBox
What are the real differences from TGPuttyLib X SecureBlackBox? In practice I have seen no difference. Higher transfer speeds were promised, but it did not happen. I have SFTP profile via local network, but the transfer remains very low (30 ~ 40 mega, on a 1 giga network).
Re: TGPuttyLib X SecureBlackBox
Hello,
they are different programs/libraries. SecureBlackBox is licensed from n/software, while TGPuttyLib is my open source DLL conversion of the psftp program from PuTTY.
I get over 100MB/sec with TGPuttyLib in a LAN, copying to a QNAP NAS with SSD. In other words, the same speeds that you get with FileZilla. FileZilla also uses psftp from PuTTY, although with a less elegant integration (no DLL).
Obviously, the speed depends on the other side too (the SFTP server).
