British Summer Time (BST) not recognised

Post by Efe_E »

Hi,

I created a sync schedule to run at 12:00 and 00:00 every day.

27th March in the UK we moved to British Summer Time. This means the clocks went forward an hour. After this change, the sync schedule ran from 13:00 and 01:00.

We have just stopped and started the Service Scheduler with the hopes that the time will run correctly but wanted to raise this.

Using version 9.47a build 374.
Windows 2012 R2 with latest Windows updates installed.

I can post any logs or screenshots if requested, but would very much like this looked into if possible.

Hello,
yes, this is a known issue. The scheduler or service needs to be restarted.

I hope to release a new Syncovery version before the next DST change that will be able to handle this situation automatically.

Hi,

We have daylight savings set for Sunday 30th October coming up. I was wondering if you have managed to release a new Syncovery version to handle daylight savings?

I had a quick look at the https://www.syncovery.com/detailed-version-history/ but couldn't see anything specific to daylight savings.

Hello,
I have tested this a few days ago with the latest version and I could not find any problem.

Unfortunately I cannot guarantee it. You need to monitor it when the time comes.

Hi,

Updating to say the BST change worked successfully. No issues at all.

Thanks. This can be closed
