Connect IPhone gfvs folder not listed

Post by S1000RR »

Hello,

I wanted to synchronize my IPone with my NAS. NAS connection via smb worked fine. But when I want to open
/run/user/1000/gvfs/gphoto2:host=Apple_Inc._iPhone_etc
the menu doesn't show me the gvfs folder. Will there be a tweak how to acces the IPhone?
Thanks in advance and also thanks for providing syncovery for free on linux!
(I use a purchased win-version in work with great pleasure!)

Hello,
which menu do you mean? The Browse button? You don't have to use it. You can just paste the complete path.

I also believe that the phone's path is only active when you open it on your Linux desktop.

You can verify that the folder actually contains something in a shell, for example do

ls -al /run/user/1000/gvfs/gphoto2:host=Apple_Inc._iPhone_etc
