Re: HTTP ERROR 409 Conflict - Name already exists

Sometimes there can be server bugs, or maybe your OneDrive is full?

Re: HTTP ERROR 409 Conflict - Name already exists

Hello, the uploads are interrupted, possibly by a bad Internet connection or a Firewall or anti-virus software. I have tested uploads to OneDrive with the same file names and similar file sizes and there were no issues. Maybe you can try a different Internet connection? Also make sure it's wired Eth...

Re: [solved] Syncovery is transfering video file before it is complete

Hello, thanks, I will think about it! If Syncovery copies or uploads local files, it is also recommended to choose "Database-safe copying: enforce exclusive access" on the tab sheet "Access & Retries", and also turn off Volume Shadowing there. But this only helps if the files that Syncovery needs to...

Re: Creating Volume Shadow?

Hello, Syncovery can use Volume Shadowing in order to make it possible to copy locked files. When this happens, it normally tries to finish copying all regular (unlocked) files first, then create the volume shadow, and then finish copying the locked files. Therefore, you may be seeing this status se...

Re: Feature suggestion: Exact mirror + Reverse Incremental Backup

Hello, thanks for posting the link! Syncovery does exactly that, it keeps a 1:1 mirror and moves older files or deleted files to separate folders, depending on the Versioning settings and the settings for Deleted Files. So you can always restore the mirror immediately, without any reassembly needed....

Re: login to onedrive, help, not sure which account

Hello, unfortunately Syncovery gets and stores only an access token when you connect it to a Microsoft account. It does not know the email address that you used to log in. I will try to improve this in Syncovery 11 very soon, so you can see more details. Right now what I'd recommend is logging into ...
