Re: HTTP ERROR 409 Conflict - Name already exists

Hello,
files over 200MB should not be a problem.

Can you send a complete log file with errors for large files to support@syncovery.com?

I also have a new version to test that should fix the 409 problem, which I would like to send to you privately.

Re: HTTP ERROR 409 Conflict - Name already exists

That's interesting, apparently Microsoft changed something. It doesn't happen with my old accounts.

I will sign up for a new one to test this.

Re: Backup Outlook live PST from QNAP

Hello, to give you some additional information: the Syncovery Remote Service can perform a few auxiliary tasks, but it cannot provide access to locked files. It can generate checksums, create fast listings, and unzip files. But copying locked Outlook PST files really requires the use of the Volume S...

Re: Backup Outlook live PST from QNAP

Hello,
for this purpose you must use the Windows version of Syncovery and run it on the machine where the pst file is stored.

That’s the only way to use Volume Shadowing to access locked files.

Re: Force SSL/TLS connection for new certificate.

Hello, since the error is "Hostname mismatch", please try to specify the correct hostname (subdomain.domain) from the "Subject" of the certificate in the FTP URL. If this is not possible, you can force allowing all SSL Certificates by adding this line to the [Main] section in Syncovery.ini: AcceptAl...

Re: Change one filetype on-the-fly

Hello,
unfortunately, the PascalScript language is currently not available for 64-bit ARM (AArch64).

I hope it can be implemented, possibly in the second half of 2024.

Re: Change one filetype on-the-fly

Hello, yes, you can do this with a PascalScript. Please see https://www.syncovery.com/pascalscript/ In the following example, I chose lower case extensions because that's the standard nowadays. However it will recognize an uppercase .DOC extension too. function OnReplaceFilenameLeftToRight(const Fil...

Re: General (and probably crazy) questions on backing up to Google Drive

I found that "Precompression" speed with compression level UltraFast is pretty fast, it just doesn't look that way.

Out of the 100% progress for one file, the first 5% are the precompression stage. So when 5% is reached, the actual upload starts.
