Re: profile not running as admin when service is set to admin

Hello, if you manually start a profile in the background, a profile running process is launched that runs under your user account. If the job runs long enough, it can happen that the services uses the same process to run jobs. To avoid this, you can manually start profiles in attended or unattended ...

Re: About bandwidth.

Hello, it depends very much on the source and destination you are working with. For example, some Internet Protocols such as S3 and Backblaze B2 are optimized with multi-threading, and the bandwidth limit is sometimes not very effective there. In that case, it may be necessary to reduce the number o...

Re: running a profile on conditions

Maybe you need to update Syncovery, or you have pasted some invalid character. Please try replacing it with this script: const p1='Daily Backup Tornado-X\UserData--Wombat'; p2='30-min Backup C-UserData--X'; function OnCanRunProfile(const ProfileName:UnicodeString; var PostponeBySeconds:Integer):Bool...

Re: Access Date

Re: Synology performance with ZIP-encryption

Hello, much RAM is not needed for zipping or encrypting. But there will be a temporary file on the hard drive. Most NAS devices have more than one CPU core. If you want to prevent using too much CPU, please make sure that the job copies only 1 file at a time. In the profile under "Files", set the nu...
