Re: Block-level copying keeps writing the whole file
Now that you point out the sync view, I realize it's been staring me in the face: the destination file is somehow getting written with a modified date of 2/18/2026. * The system clocks on the two machines are both set accurately * I see the 2026 date not only here in Syncovery, but also when I look ...

Block-level copying keeps writing the whole file
I have a profile consisting mostly of a handful of large VirtualBox and Veracrypt drive container files. The destination is a USB drive attached to another Linux machine, over SMB/wifi. Because the files are so large, yet will have small portions within them changing every day, I'm using block-level...

Re: Seeing profile changes reflected in "run with preview"
That was it. I had checked the right side in an attempt to solve the earlier problems. Now that I unchecked it, it's working as expected. Thanks!

Re: Seeing profile changes reflected in "run with preview"
I see. So yes -- now every time I cancel and re-run, there's a scan process that begins. And, any mask filter changes are reflected in the re-run. However, the subfolder selection unfortunately isn't having any effect. Rather, all folders are being displayed, except the ones I've masked out. I can't...

Re: Dashboard often hangs with "loading" after clicking OK on "edit profile"
Thank you -- yes, that kills the process and lets me restart without rebooting. That's a big help. I've emailed the log offline. I'm running the app out of the terminal now, per your instruction. The problem hasn't happened today -- I would've expected it to, given its frequency yesterday -- but if ...

Dashboard often hangs with "loading" after clicking OK on "edit profile"
Hi... I have a fresh install of Syncovery (v9.38) running on a fresh Linux install, and I often have the dashboard freeze up in a "loading" hourglass. It's happened to me about four times since last night, within less than an hour of total usage. I know the last two of them happened after I hit "OK"...

Seeing profile changes reflected in "run with preview"
Hello Tobias -- I've used the Windows version for several years, and now I'm using Linux. I'm can't tell if this behavior is expected or erroneous. In Windows, I can create a profile, and then iteratively make changes to the profile and then run "run attended" to see what the scan identifies. For ex...
