Re: sync db maintenance compression?
Hello, first - the lengthy database check can be skipped by going to the tab sheet "Special" -> "Database" in the profile and choosing "Fast Mode". The only reason databases could become so large is if they contain MD5 checksums for Block Level Copying, could that be the case? Do you think they migh...

Re: Error Operation Cancelled
Hello,
the process is being terminated. Can you check if this still happens with the latest Syncovery version? Which one do you currently have?

Re: Synology DSM7 Support
Our new unified Syncovery Linux Installer is now available. This is a little tool than installs or updates Syncovery on Linux boxes, including many NAS models. It runs on Windows and needs SSH access (such as admin). When installing on a Synology DSM 7 box, it will ask you if Syncovery should run as...

Re: Synology DSM7 Support
Hello,
interesting. Well it's very easy to give root rights to Syncovery again, on DSM 7. I will publish a tool for that soon.

Re: differential backup
Hello, what you are trying to achieve is actually the default behavior with zero changes to the default settings. Maybe you should create a new profile from scratch, so you can be sure that no funny settings are chosen. Run a job in attended mode to test its behavior. Take a look at the Sync Preview...

Re: Need to stop scheduler in Syncovery NAS
Hello,
the Synology packages stop and restart the scheduler when upgrading. The icon probably went away because the new version has a new hi-res icon, so you needed to drag it to the desktop again.

Hello,
I assume that a dialog appears offscreen? The best solution in Syncovery 9 would be to click the Gears toolbar button, then Running Options, and chooose:
X Run Profile in Main Window
