Re: Excessive Logs on Synology
I already reduced the settings so everything looks good now. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks!

Password rejected - Couldn't open Syncovery
Running the Synology application, and my login credentials would not authenticate today. Stopped and restarted the package without success. Manually installed the latest 9.48n and the credentials were accepted. I never saw this before. Any idea what happened? Is there a "simple" fix, as I think I lu...

Re: Synology to Synology copy task fails to connect
As I've dug deeper on this, I am thinking this is a network card issue. It is reporting that its "partner" (my router?) is declaring only 100Mbps (half-duplex). I suspect that the NAS Ethernet card is failing to "handshake" with the router, and then drops to the lowest connection possible. If I can'...

Re: Synology to Synology copy task fails to connect
I'm not keen on the mount (this is a backup copy with versioning).
That said, after switching the mount from CIFS to NFS, the transfer rate hasn't improved.

Re: Synology to Synology copy task fails to connect
In the meantime, I mounted NAS B to NAS A for a simple copy... but I'm getting only 8MB/s on a 1GB circuit.
Hoping there is a solution.

Synology to Synology copy task fails to connect
Setting a simple task to copy files between Synology units on the same LAN. The destination throws connection errors when I attempt to choose the destination folder. I tried SMB and get: ERROR: Connection problem: smb://192.168.1.12: Cannot access smb://192.168.1.12 (Samba Open Directory Error Codes...

Re: Files in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming
Hi, I don't think this has changed, but because the number of INI files has increased a lot, it would be better to move them into the Syncovery folder. I will think about how to do that in a safe way. The default folder is C:\ProgramData\Syncovery, and there it really puts everything into the Synco...

Re: Choose folders and files quirk
So I just stick with my workaround with the empty folder, as I want to sync from the PC2 with fewer folders to the one with more folders... Such that if I create a new folder on the PC2, it will be synced to the PC1 with greater number of folders. Otherwise selecting folders from PC1, it would never...
