Re: Possble to download from a Dropbox public link

It is like your example. But if it could get them individually that would be best. There are limits to how big a zip dropbox will make/download.

Re: Possble to download from a Dropbox public link

That is what I wound up having to do. Dropbox catch-22. If someone shares files with you that counts against YOUR file limit. They can share a link that you can download, but then you can run into the folder exceeding the download size limit requiring individual file download and much pain. If synco...

Re: sync db maintenance compression?

It was block level copying. Not even sure why that was turned on, I must have been experimenting with it and never turned it back off. It isn't needed. So I turned it off and deleted the database and let it be rebuilt.

Thanks for the quick response.

sync db maintenance compression?

Is there any sort of utility to run to compress or do any maintenance on the syncdbs or is that something that gets done automatically. I have a few rather large file sets that sync. I've got 3 syncdbs that are over 2.2GB. At least one of them seems to take a long time to run through the database ch...

How to improve performance with sync of large number of very small files?

I am seeing very poor performance while copying large numbers of very small files. I am talking hundreds of thousands of files that are less than 10k in size. Large files copy quickly but the small ones seem to take ages. By comparison, normal/large files I can average 1GB per hour at my current thr...

Re: Remote Service not getting upgraded when you "Check For Update.."

It was not selected when I ran it manually. This is an install that was an upgrade from back before the name change. Maybe even before the remote service was even an option. Though I somehow got it installed.

Remote Service not getting upgraded when you "Check For Update.."

When you upgrade via the Check For Update option the remote service does not get upgraded.

Downloading and installing manually I can update it, but it isn't updated when you use Check For Updates.

Re: Don't run profile if specific other profile(s) are running?

I never said thanks for this.. I wound up with several pairs of profiles i didn't want running at the same time and the if else became unmanageable so I came up with this. I figured I'd share it. const p1='Profile Name 1'; p2='Profile Name 2'; p3='Profile Name 3'; p4='Profile Name 4'; p5='Profile Na...

Copy ony XXX MB per run question?

Should this feature be stopping the profile from copying any file larger than the specified value? I have several profiles using this along with the Special Option to copy Newest Files first. My thought being, copy new stuff (ie most likely to be needed to be shared) and anything else. But.. only co...
