Hi there,
I read somewhere that a public tool for decompression and decryption of .sz archives should be freely available. Are there any plans to provide such a tool for MacOS, Linux and Windows platforms?
Thanks in advance,
Nei

Re: Support of OpenStack Swift cloud storage?
Hello Tobias,
just wanted to get back on the OpenStack/Swift cloud storage support. You mentioned that in Q4/2020 there might be a chance for implementing this cloud backend in Syncovery. So I thought I ask for any update of your plans towards this.

Re: Troubles with SET /SYNCOVERY_HOME
Thanks Tobias for the explanations, but sorry, I still don't get it.
In the documentation is written:
SyncoveryCL will create a .Syncovery folder for configuration, logs, and databases in the HOME folder. It depends on the HOME environment variable. You can also use SYNCOVERY_HOME, which takes ...

Troubles with SET /SYNCOVERY_HOME
Hi there,
I extracted https://www.syncovery.com/release/SyncoveryCL-x86_64-9.10-Web.tar.gz in /opt/Syncovery/ and initialized it with:

Re: Prevent Notebook from sleep during backup?
Hi there,
as a workaround something like this might help. It is a combination of a script and a power plan on Windows: How do I disable sleep mode (windows 7) when a specific program is running?

Prevent Notebook from sleep during backup?
Hi there,
perhaps I did not look carefully enough but where do I find a setting like "Prevent notebook from sleep during backup"? The use case is indeed to prevent laptops from sleeping while they do a rather lengthy backup job to a cloud back-end.
Thanks in advance,
Nei

Restore Wizard
Hi there,
in the Linux Version I can not find the "Restore Wizard" I find in the Windows version within the context menu.
Perhaps someone can guide me to this functionality in the Linux version. If it is not implemented in the Linux version are there any plans to to so?

Re: Support of OpenStack Swift cloud storage?
our Rackspace API implementation is not related to OpenStack. Not sure why you mention that.

Of course Tobias, you are right. I was somehow on the wrong pathway, Hubic/OVH or Swiss Backup are the ...
